Baylee and Kavika tied the knot in the quiet forest of Northern Louisiana. Celebrating their love and commitment to each other with their friends, family, and barbeque!
This wedding was particularly special to me. Baylee and I have been friends since before we can remember. I have prayed that Baylee would find a man that could match her spunky, energetic, and joyful personality. Kavika did just that.

Creekwood Gardens
Tucked away off the beaten path of Northern Louisiana is a wedding venue, bed and breakfast, and RV site all rolled into one. Walking into Creekwood Gardens feels like you are discovering one of Louisiana's hidden gems. They have created somewhat of an oasis, surrounding the lake with beautiful winding pathways, entertainment areas with beautiful views, and a magical greenhouse with fairy lights (that is most importantly, now air conditioned).

An Intimate Ceremony
Baylee and Kavika had a small, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. They exchanged traditional vows, committed to serving each other with the example of Christ and His bride, and sealed their promise with a kiss. It was a beautiful and sweet union to witness and celebrate.
While observing the significance of the moment, Baylee and Kavika's playful joy was evident. These two couldn't wait to be pronounced Mr. and Mrs.!
The Celebration!
How could you not celebrate at a time like this?? Baylee and Kavika treated their guests to delicious barbeque and beer, catered by "The Missing Link", a restaurant in Downtown Shreveport (You can find their Facebook page here). Followed by cake and dancing!
Receptions have to be my favorite part of any wedding. Having so many people gather, dance, and celebrate the marriage of two people is such a beautiful thing to me. It's fun to think about how undeniably joyful marriage is!
I was able to sneak away with Baylee and Kavika during the reception to snag some sweet shots of them enjoying their first few hours of marriage. This was a special time to see them connect with each other alone.
This was followed by their flower petal exit! A beautiful send off at the end of a spectacular celebration!
